Import and export
Move translations between ReRune and platform resource files, with explicit control over language, publication state, and variants.

Import an existing catalog
- Open the target project translations and choose Import.
- Select the platform that matches the file. Choose the language when the format uses a file per language.
- Select the translation file and submit the import.
- Review the imported keys and values in the editor. Check language assignment, placeholders, and plural structure before publishing.
Choose what to export
Open Export and select the platform and language. Choose draft or published content according to the purpose of the export. Use draft content for review and local development; choose published content when you need the currently released translations.
The export dialog also lets you select a variant. Use this when generating files for a particular brand or audience. Verify the output before distributing it, including values that fall back to Main.
Validate the round trip
Keep a copy of the source file, import it, export the matching format, and compare the result. Formatting and key order may change during conversion; check the meaning, key identity, and argument structure rather than relying on a byte-for-byte match.
Run the localization compiler or resource generator used by your application. A successful file import does not establish that every application call site is compatible with the exported message signature.
