From editor to app

Your words. Three steps to the screen.

  1. Make the copy yours

Open a key in your demo workspace. Change the source wording or a translation, using the prepared project as your starting point.

  2. Preview, then publish

Enable project staging, then turn it on in the app preview to inspect your saved drafts. When the wording is ready, publish it for normal OTA delivery.

  3. Watch the app catch up

Open App preview and press Refresh texts. Chapter fetches your published wording. Switch its reading language to check the translations.

More than a product tour

Get a feel for the work you actually do.

Check copy across languages

Work on translations in the same project, then switch the app language to see how your text reads in context.

Try a different audience

Edit audience-specific wording under the same key. Switch the VIP edition in Chapter to see the variant, with Main text as the fallback.

Want to see it on your own device?

The sandbox includes an OTA publish ID and setup instructions for the Chapter example apps. Try the same project in a browser or with React Native, iOS, Android, or Flutter. The ID lasts only for your sandbox session.

What is a localization sandbox?

A localization sandbox is a temporary ReRune workspace with a prepared translation project. It lets you try translation keys, languages, audience variants, staging, and OTA publishing with the Chapter demo app before connecting your own product.

Do I need an account to try ReRune?

No. Start a sandbox directly from this page, without signing up. A demo project is already prepared, so you can begin editing app text without importing files or setting up your own project.

How do I see my translation changes in the app?

Edit a key and publish your changes. Open App preview in the key details and press Refresh texts in Chapter. The preview fetches the published text through OTA delivery. To preview drafts first, enable project staging and turn on staging in the app preview.

What happens when my sandbox session ends?

The sandbox and its demo data are deleted when the session ends. A countdown in the workspace shows how much time is left. For work you want to keep, create your own ReRune account and project.

What if all sandboxes are in use?

This page shows current availability and, when available, an estimate of when the next sandbox opens up. You can return later or create a free ReRune account to start with your own project.
