Install the CLI

Run the maintained installer in a terminal. It installs or updates the reviewed CLI in your user-local binary directory without sudo. Ensure that directory is on PATH, then open a new terminal if needed.

On macOS, Homebrew is also available. Choose one installation method so your shell resolves the intended binary.

brew install rerune

Run the PowerShell installer. It installs for the current user without administrator access. Open a new terminal after installation if your current session does not pick up the PATH change.

rerune help

Use rerune help to read the command reference shipped with your installed version. For a specific command, use rerune help project create or the matching command path. The installed help is the authority for flags available in that release.

For pinned builds, use the release archives and verify the SHA-256 checksum supplied with that release. The catalog contains downloads for supported operating systems and processor architectures.

Change into your application directory and run rerune. Select or create a project, choose the platform format, and set the translations folder. The CLI writes rerune.json for subsequent commands. If an API key is already available in the environment, setup can use it without storing the literal secret in this file.
