Cookie Notice

This Cookie Notice describes the cookies and similar browser storage ReRune uses for sign-in, security, preferences, and interface state.

Last updated

Scope and technologies covered

ReRune uses cookies and similar browser storage to provide the dashboard, maintain sign-in state, refresh sessions, support security, remember interface preferences, preserve navigation state, apply the selected theme, and remember that the cookie notice was dismissed.

ReRune does not use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, retargeting cookies, newsletter tracking pixels, or newsletter link tracking.

Necessary browser storage

  • Authentication tokens, refresh tokens, token expiry/type, and session validity values keep users signed in and keep sessions working.
  • Security and session values support account access, authenticated API requests, and session refresh.
  • `sidebar_state` remembers whether dashboard navigation is open or collapsed.
  • `rerune.cookie_notice_dismissed` remembers that the cookie notice was closed.

Preference storage

  • Theme preference stores selected light, dark, or system mode.

Consent and legal basis

Necessary cookies and local storage are used because they are required to provide the requested ReRune dashboard functionality and to keep the service secure. Preference storage is used to remember user-selected interface settings. No separate analytics or marketing consent is requested because ReRune does not activate analytics or marketing storage.

Managing storage and preferences

  • Users can clear cookies and local storage in browser settings.
  • Clearing authentication storage logs the user out.
  • Blocking necessary storage breaks core dashboard functionality.
  • Changing or clearing theme storage resets the interface theme preference.

Retention of browser storage

Session and authentication storage remains for the period required to maintain the active sign-in state and refresh cycle. Preference and interface storage remains until the user changes the setting, clears browser storage, or uses a browser profile that does not retain local storage.
